May 4th-May 8th

We had a very busy week! Mr. Neal (Spencer's dad) came and started the Junior Achievement program and the kids had a great time becoming city planners. On Friday, we had an Earth Day presentation from Five Rivers. We also celebrated Brian's birthday!

**Important reminder: Monday is our field trip to the Albany Visitors Center. Please make sure your child brings lunch that day! Also, we will be leaving promptly at 9:30 so please make sure your child is on time for school. Thanks!

Also, if your child is interested in playing a stringed instrument next year, the "Meet the Strings" event is Monday night at the high school at 7pm.

We finished up mystery book groups last week. The kids did a great job with this. We will be working on reading in connection to social studies and science this week.

In science, we will continue the electricity unit. In social studies, we will be learning about Brazil.
